The Elecard Codec SDK G4 is a software development kit intended to enable programmers to develop digital video encoding and playback applications using the Elecard components within the Microsoft DirectShow technology.
In the Elecard Codec SDK package you will find the codecs, the documentation and some sample apps.
Samples include decoding, encoding and network solutions that demonstrate the use and configuring of different Elecard components that come along with SDK, such as Elecard Codecs MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVC; Network components: NWRenderer, NWSource-Plus, and other filters.

· Elecard AVC Video Decoder (eavcdec.ax)
Software-only decoding solution for ISO/IEC 14496 part 10 AVC / ITU-T Recommendation H.264 video streams.
· Elecard MPEG-2 Video Decoder (em2vd.ax)
DirectShow filter for software-only decoding MPEG-2 video (ISO/IEC 13818-2) and MPEG-1 video (ISO/IEC 11172-2) streams.
· Elecard MPEG-4 Video Decoder (em4vdec.ax)
Software-only decoding solution for MPEG-4 (ISO/IEC 14496-2) streams.
· Elecard MPEG Audio Decoder (emad.ax)
DirectShow filter for the software-only decoding of MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-2.5 and LPCM audio streams.
· Elecard AAC Audio Decoder (eaacd.ax)
DirectShow filter for the software-only decoding of AAC and HE-AAC audio streams.

· Elecard RTSP NetSource (ertspnws.ax)
DirectShow filter that sets the connection with RTSP server sends request for starting, stopping, pausing the media broadcasting and positioning in the stream, receives media data from RTSP server.
· Elecard Sink Filter (esf.ax)
DirectShow filter that dumps a stream to a file. It supports the indexing of the MPEG-2 VES and MPEG-2 PS and splitting the encoded file into parts of a predefined size.
· Elecard NWRenderer (enwr.ax, enwr.dll)
DirectShow filter for broadcasting media data to the network. It is capable of sending RTP, UDP and TCP packets and supports the announcement of its data session via SAP (SDP) packets.
· Elecard TimeMarker (EtimeMarker.ax)
DirectShow transform filter for stream analysis. It defines the type of data, extracts time stamps from the stream and sets these time stamps on the output media samples.
